Dear prospective Asian Tango dance competitors,

Considering the current global situation regarding corona virus pandemic, Asian Tango Dance Championship committee has decided to cancel the championship this year.
It was planned to be held on the 20th and 21st of June at Sakura Hall in Shibuya, Tokyo this year.
We had been observing the situation to decide whether we would go ahead and host the championship or not, but we are not even sure if the Tango Dance World championship 2020 would take place regarding the fact that the virus is spreading in Argentine and its economical downturn. Other events taking place around the time in Tokyo have been postponed or canceled because of the uncertainty of how long this situation would last.
We apologize for not announcing this news earlier, but we appreciate your sincere understanding. Hope we will be able to see you all in 2021.
